(ANNOUNCER)>> TODAY WE'RE BACK
ON OUR WRANGLER LJ PROJECT. WE'RE ADDING SOME
TRAIL PROTECTION ALONG WITH NEW SEATS. THEN IT'S A BETTER EXHAUST
BEFORE WE FLEX IT OUT TO TEST OUR NEW LONG ARM
SUSPENSION SYSTEM. IT'S ALL TODAY HERE ON TRUCKS.
(KEVIN)>> HEY WELCOME TO TRUCKS. WELL OUR WRANGLER UNLIMITED HERE IS JUST ABOUT READY FOR THE TRAIL AND FOR THE ROAD, BUT THERE'S SOME LAST MINUTE DETAILS WE WANT TO TAKE CARE OF. WE WANT TO TWEAK THE STYLING A LITTLE BIT, GIVE OURSELVES A LITTLE MORE PROTECTION OFF ROAD, TAKE CARE OF SOME INTERIOR COMFORT UPGRADES, AND BEEF UP THE PERFORMANCE JUST A BIT.
(RYAN)>> NOW THE FIRST THING WE'RE GONNA DO IS REMOVE THESE FENDER FLARES AND ROCKER TRIM SO WE CAN INSTALL SOME ROCKER PROTECTION TO THIS VULNERABLE AREA OF SHEET METAL BELOW THE DOOR. NOW WHILE YOU'RE OUT WHEELING SOMETIMES IT'S NICE TO BE ABLE TO USE ROCKER SKIDS TO PIVOT AROUND AN OBSTACLE, OR JUST TO GET THROUGH A TOUGH SECTION OF TRAIL WITHOUT WORRYING TOO MUCH ABOUT TEARING UP SOME NICE, STRAIGHT SHEET METAL, ESPECIALLY ON A JEEP LIKE THIS THAT YOU WANT TO KEEP GOOD LOOKING.
(KEVIN)>> NOW WE'RE CHANGING TO A DIFFERENT STYLE FLARE, BUT THESE ARE STILL IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE. SO THEY'RE NOT GOING IN THE SCRAP PILE, THEY'RE GOING ON A BUDDY'S JEEP.
(RYAN)>> BODY MOUNT BACK HERE.
(KEVIN)>> THE ROCKER SKIDS, WELL THEY'RE FAIRLY EASY TO FIT SINCE THEY SADDLE THE BOTTOM OF THE ROCKER PANEL. WE'RE JUST USING A FLOOR JACK AND A BLOCK OF WOOD TO HOLD IT IN PLACE TIGHTLY. THE MOUNTING HARDWARE IS FAIRLY STRAIGHT FORWARD, YOU JUST NEED A DRILL BIT. IN THIS CASE WE USED THE MATCO CORDLESS DRILL. THE RUSTY'S HARDWARE IS STAINLESS STEEL, SO IT'S GONNA STAY LOOKING GOOD AND YOU'RE NOT GONNA GET THOSE UGLY RUST STREAKS RUNNING DOWN THE OUTSIDE OF THE POWDER COAT. ANOTHER GOOD THING ABOUT THE NYLOCK NUTS IS THAT THEY'RE GONNA HOLD THEIR POSITION NO MATTER HOW MUCH VIBRATION, BUT THEY CAN ALWAYS BE REMOVED IN CASE WE WANT TO SWAP OUT THESE ROCKER SKIDS.
ALRIGHT, NOW WE'RE NOT GONNA LEAVE THIS BOLT OUT SINCE THIS IS THE ONLY HARDWARE THAT HOLDS THIS ROCKER SKID TO THE BODY. WE'RE GONNA WAIT UNTIL WE GET INSIDE, CREATE SOME BETTER ACCESS SO WE CAN GET TO IT FROM THE BACK SIDE. NOW IF IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE THIS IS QUITE ENOUGH HARDWARE TO HOLD THIS ON, THINK ABOUT IT LIKE THIS. YOUR FORCES ARE GONNA BE WORKING AGAINST THAT BY PUSHING UP, SO IT'S REALLY GONNA PUSH UP INTO THE BODY, SO ALL IT REALLY NEEDS IS TO BE HELD ON FROM THE SIDES. SO THIS IS GONNA BE ROCK READY REAL SOON.
(RYAN)>> NOW WE'RE PULLING THE SEATS OUT OF THIS JEEP FOR A COUPLE OF REASONS. ONE, WE WANT TO GAIN ACCESS TO THIS LAST BOLT HOLDING THE ROCKERS IN PLACE. AND TWO, WELL WE WANT TO SWAP THEM OUT FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE COMFORTABLE AND APPROPRIATE FOR TRAIL USE. NOW THREE OF THE FOUR BOLTS HOLDING THE SEATS IN PLACE ARE YOUR STANDARD HEX HEAD BOLTS THAT COME OUT PRETTY EASY, BUT THE FOURTH ONE IS A TORX BOLT AND THEY STRIP OUT KINDA EASILY. ADD TO THAT THEY'RE SLATHERED IN THREAD LOCKER AND IT'S DIFFICULT TO GET IN HERE AND GET A RATCHET ON TO GET A GOOD BITE. SO YOUR BEST BET IS TO USE AN IMPACT DRIVER SO YOU DON'T STRIP THE BOLT OUT AND CAUSE YOURSELF A BUNCH OF EXTRA WORK. WE PICKED OURS UP FROM MATCO. NOW THE WAY THE IMPACT DRIVER WORKS IS ACTUALLY PRETTY SIMPLE. WHEN YOU STRIKE THE TOP OF IT WITH A HAMMER, IT APPLIES A ROTATIONAL FORCE TO THE FASTENER AT THE SAME TIME AS PUTTING PRESSURE ON THE SOCKET PREVENTING THE FASTENER FROM STRIPPING OUT. IT'S A PRETTY HANDY TOOL.
(KEVIN)>> WITH THE SEAT OUT OF THE WAY, WE COULD NOW GET TO THAT LAST BOLT FOR THE ROCKER SKID, WHICH HAS A BLIND PANEL. SO WITH THE LONG BIT FROM ONE SIDE AND A STEP DRILL IN THE OTHER, WE MADE THE CLEARANCE WE NEED FOR THE FASTENER. NOW HERE'S A FUN TRICK. USING A NUT DRIVER, THE NYLOCK NUT INSIDE, AND SOME GASKET GLUE FROM LOCTITE, YOU CAN HOLD YOUR HARDWARE IN PLACE WITHOUT HAVING TO SEE IT. THEN YOU CAN OPERATE FROM THE OTHER SIDE AND JUST PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER.
NOW TO COVER UP THE ACCESS HOLD AND LEAVE A NICE OE LOOK WE'RE JUST USING A SHEET METAL BODY PLUG. THESE PLUGS ARE MADE FROM PLASTIC, AVAILABLE AT ALMOST ANY AUTO PARTS STORE, AND REALLY GIVE A NICE PROFESSIONAL LOOK TO YOUR REPAIR. NOW THE NEW BUSHWHACKER FLARES ARE WHAT THEY CALL A MODULAR DESIGN, AND USE MOUNTING BRACKETS AS WELL AS THE MAIN FLARE ITSELF. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO INSTALL THEM COMES WITH THE KIT, AND IT'S BASICALLY BOLT ON UNTIL YOU GET TO THE MARKER LIGHTS. THEN IT'S A SIMPLE MATTER OF CUTTING THE WIRES, PUTTING THE CONNECTORS IN SO THE LIGHTS AND THE FLARES ARE REMOVABLE. NOW THE CONNECTORS AREN'T JUST THE CHEAP ONES. THEY COME WITH THEIR OWN SHRINK TUBING. SO ONCE YOU CRIMP THEM IN PLACE, YOU CAN APPLY A LITTLE HEAT AND ESSENTIALLY MAKE A WEATHERPROOF OR WATERPROOF CONNECTION.
THE MARKER LIGHTS REQUIRE A CHASSIS GROUND, WHICH IS HANDLED BY ONE OF THE MOUNTING STRIP BOLTS AND THEN EVERYTHING IS JUST PLUGGED IN. ONCE ALL THAT'S DONE, THE FENDER FLARE ITSELF JUST PUSHES ON TO THE SUPPORTING BRACKETS AND IS HELD IN PLACE WITH PHILLIPS SCREWS THAT ARE ALSO PROVIDED IN THE KIT. THERE IT IS! OUT BACK IT'S PRETTY MUCH THE SAME STORY. YOU PUT THE MOUNTING BRACKETS ON FOLLOWED BY THE FENDER FLARE, AND THIS IS EASIER TO DO WITH THE SPLASH GUARD OUT. I CHEATED AND PAID FOR IT IN SKIN.
WELL THERE YOU GO! THE FLAT STYLE FLARES HAVE A DECIDEDLY MORE AGGRESSIVE LOOK, BUT THAT'S NOT THE BEST PART. WITH THEIR MODULAR DESIGN, IF YOU COME INTO CONTACT WITH SOMETHING LIKE, OH, A TREE OUT ON THE TRAIL, WELL IT'S DESIGNED TO TEAR AWAY FROM THE BODY AND NOT CAUSE YOU BODY DAMAGE. THAT'S PRETTY COOL! BY THE WAY, DOT LEGAL.
(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME BACK TO THE SHOP. WELL WE'RE COMING DOWN THE HOME STRETCH OF OUR LJ BUILD HERE. WE'VE GOT JUST A FEW THINGS LEFT TO FINISH IT UP. NOW LIKE WE TOLD YOU EARLIER, WE WANTED TO DITCH THESE STOCK BUCKETS IN FAVOR OF SOMETHING THAT'S A LITTLE BIT MORE SUPPORTIVE. THESE ARE RUBICON SEATS FROM MASTERCRAFT, AND THEY'RE SUSPENSION SEATS, MEANING THAT THE SEAT BOTTOM IS GONNA TAKE A LOT OF THE JOLT FROM BOUNCING AROUND OFF ROAD AND NOT YOUR SPINE. NOW THESE ARE CUT WITH SLOTS FOR FIVE POINT HARNESSES, AND THEY'VE GOT LOOPS TO SECURE THE BELTS IN PLACE. NOW THERE'S OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE AS WELL. YOU CAN GET AN ADJUSTABLE HEAD REST, LUMBAR, EVEN HEATED SEATS, BUT WE KEPT OURS PRETTY BASIC JUST TO KEEP COSTS DOWN.
IF YOU'VE NEVER TAKEN A SEAT APART BEFORE, WELL IT DOES REQUIRE A LITTLE BIT OF PATIENCE. IT'S NOTHING TOO DIFFICULT TO DO, BUT IT CAN BE FRUSTRATING CAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE ALL THE FASTENERS ARE HIDDEN. AND AFTER YOU REMOVE A BOLT, AND A BOLT, AND A FEW MORE BOLTS THE SEAT COMES APART. THEN YOU CAN TAKE THE SEAT TRACK AND PREPARE IT FOR INSTALLATION ONTO THE NEW SEAT, AND THAT STARTS WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE FOUR PROVIDED MOUNTING STUDS. THIS BRACKET WILL HOLD THE SEAT BELT. NOW THE TWO FRONT STUDS GET HALF INCH SPACERS AND THE LAST STUD GETS A NEW HANDLE THAT'LL OPERATE THE TILT FORWARD FEATURE. OF COURSE THE TILT FORWARD CABLE HAS TO GET REROUTED AND ATTACHED TO THE HANDLE. THEN JUST SLIDE THE SEAT OVER THE FOUR MOUNTING STUDS AND HERE'S WHERE THE PATIENCE COMES IN. THERE'S NOT A WHOLE LOT OF ROOM TO GET YOUR HAND IN THERE TO ATTACH THE FOUR NYLOCK NUTS AND WASHERS. SO JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND YOU'LL GET THROUGH IT.
NOW THESE SEATS ARE DESIGNED TO BE ABLE TO USE FIVE OR SIX POINT HARNESSES, BUT WE DECIDED JUST TO RUN THE FACTORY SEAT BELTS. AFTER ALL, THIS IS A DAILY DRIVER. AND USING FOUR, FIVE, OR SIX POINT HARNESSES ON A DAILY BASIS CAN GET KINDA TIRESOME. I THINK THIS IS LIGHTER THAN THE STOCK SEAT. NOW WHEN INSTALLING THE SEAT, DON'T FORGET TO PLUG IN THE SEAT BELT BUCKLE HARNESS OR YOU'RE GONNA GET THAT ANNOYING CHIME AND ORANGE WARNING LIGHT IN THE DASH. AND AS FAR AS THE BOLTS GO, WELL WE'RE USING THREE STOCKERS AND THE FOURTH ONE WE'RE SWAPPING IN A GRADE EIGHT BOLT IN PLACE OF THE STRIP PRONE TORX BOLT. NOW NOT ALL WRANGLERS HAVE A DRIVER'S SEAT THAT TILTS FORWARD, BUT THIS ONE DID AND IT STILL WORKS.
(KEVIN)>> NOW THERE'S PROBABLY ENOUGH ROOM TO SWAP THE EXHAUST WITH THE SKID PLATE ON, BUT WE'RE TAKING IT OFF SO WE CAN SHOW YOU THE PROJECT. AND OUR RUNNING BET WAS TO SEE IF IT WOULD COME OFF IN ONE PIECE.
(RYAN)>> LOOK AT THAT!
(KEVIN)>> HECK YEAH MAN!
(RYAN)>> FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING.
(KEVIN)>> I'VE GOT FAITH MAN, I THINK IT'LL WORK.
NOW THE DYNOMAX EXHAUST SYSTEM BOLTS EASILY INTO THE FACTORY LOCATION, BUT IT UTILIZES A LARGER DIAMETER PIPE. SO EVEN THOUGH IT'S AN AFTER CAT SYSTEM, IT ENHANCES FLOW AND SCAVENGING. NOW YOU'VE GOT THE CHOICE TO BOLT IN OR WELD IN THIS SYSTEM. SINCE THEY PROVIDE THESE COOL BAND CLAMPS, WE'RE GONNA USE THEM SINCE THEY DON'T CRIMP THE PIPE AT THE JOINTS, WHICH MAKES IT A LOT EASIER TO CHANGE OUT THE MUFFLER IF WE EVER DAMAGE IT ON THE TRAIL.
WE'RE GONNA INSTALL THE TIP JUST TO FINISH OFF THE LOOK, BUT WE'RE GONNA MAKE SURE THAT IT'S JUST BEHIND THE BUMPER SO IT DOESN'T INTERFERE WITH THE DEPARTURE ANGLE. WITH THE EXHAUST SYSTEM BUTTONED DOWN, IT'S TIME TO WRAP IT UP AND PUT THE SKID PLATE BACK ON, AND YOU CAN KINDA TELL IT WAS GETTING LATE IN THE DAY.
(RYAN)>> OH, LET ME GO RETRIEVE A WASHER.
(KEVIN)>> I TOOK THE WASHER, I HID IT FROM RYAN. NOW HE'S GONNA GO LOOK FOR ANOTHER ONE. HE WON'T FIND THE RIGHT SIZE, WATCH THIS.
GET IT?
(RYAN)>> YEP!
(KEVIN)>> JOKE FAIL!
(RYAN)>> DONE!
(KEVIN)>> HEY, WELCOME BACK TO TRUCKS. WELL IF YOU HAVEN'T FIGURED IT OUT ON YOUR OWN AND YOU HAVEN'T HEARD US SAY IT, WELL LET ME TELL YOU, THESE INLINE SIX CYLINDER FOUR LITER JEEP ENGINES ARE LEGENDARY FOR BOTH DURABILITY AND PERFORMANCE. AND THIS ONE WITH JUST A TICK OVER 70,000 MILES IS JUST GETTING STARTED. THERE IS NO REASON TO BREAK INTO THIS ENGINE TO BEEF UP PERFORMANCE, BUT WHAT WE DO WANT TO DO IS COMPLETE THE TRIFECTA OF BETTER INTAKE AIR FLOW, BETTER EXHAUST FLOW, AND SOME KIND OF ELECTRONIC WAKE UP CALL, AND THE SUPERCHIPS FLASH PACK, THAT'S GONNA DO THE JOB.
WITH THE FLASH PACK CONNECTED TO THE ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC PORT, THE MENUS GUIDE YOU THROUGH QUICKLY. THE FIRST THING THE DEVICE DOES IS TAKE A SNAP SHOT OF YOUR COMPUTER'S STOCK CONFIGURATION. THAT WAY IF YOU HAVE TO, FOR WHATEVER REASON, YOU CAN EASILY CHANGE YOUR VEHICLE BACK TO THE STOCK TUNE. NOW WE CHOSE A QUICK PERFORMANCE TUNE THAT'S GONNA REQUIRE US TO PUT HIGHER OCTANE GAS IN. BUT THERE IS AN 87 OCTANE TUNE IF YOU'RE PINCHING PENNIES.
HERE WE GO, READY FOR SOME HIGH TEST GAS IN THIS THING, THEN WE CAN GO PLAY.
(RYAN)>> NOW KEVIN MIGHT BE GETTING A LITTLE BIT AHEAD OF HIMSELF. WE'VE GOT A COUPLE OF IMPORTANT ISSUES THAT WE NEED TO ADDRESS BEFORE WE CAN DRIVE THIS THING. WE'VE GOT TO INSTALL THE NEW REAR DRIVESHAFT THAT WE'VE GOT ON THE WAY, AND WE'VE GOT TO BLEED THE BRAKES SINCE WE SWAPPED OUR STANDARD FLEX LINES FOR STAINLESS STEEL FLEX LINES. AND WE'RE GONNA SHOW YOU HOW TO BLEED THE BRAKES FOR FREE AS LONG AS YOU'VE GOT A SECOND WARM BODY IN THE ROOM. NOW UNDER HOOD WHERE WE MOUNTED OUR ARB COMPRESSOR, IT'S AWAY FROM ANYTHING THAT'S TOO HOT AND IT'S KINDA DOWN HERE IN THE FENDER WELL. SO IT'S PROTECTED FROM GETTING SPLASHED BY WATER AND MUD OUT ON THE TRIAL. ALRIGHT, PUMP IT UP KT. ALRIGHT, NOW WE LIKE TO BLEED BRAKES THE CLEAN WAY, BY USING SOME PIECE OF HOSE OVER TOP OF THE BLEED SCREW AND INTO A CANISTER. YOU CAN DO IT WITHOUT THIS STUFF, BUT YOU'RE JUST SPRAYING BRAKE FLUID ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND MAYBE ALL OVER THE PARTS. ALRIGHT, PUMP IT UP. ALRIGHT, NOW YOU'RE NOT GONNA GET ALL THE AIR OUT IN ONE SHOT. IT'S GONNA TAKE MULTIPLE CYCLES. PUMP IT UP.
(KEVIN)>> ALRIGHT.
DO IT AGAIN, ALRIGHT. NOW YOU KNOW WHEN THE LINE'S COMPLETELY FLUSHED CAUSE THE COLOR OF THE FLUID HAS CHANGED FROM A MURKY BROWN TO AN ALMOST TRANSLUCENT AMBER COLOR. ALRIGHT, ONE MORE, ALRIGHT. YOU GETTING ANYWHERE?
(KEVIN)>> YEP, OKAY, NOW WHEN YOU'RE DOING A TWO PERSON BLEED, IF YOU'VE DONE THIS BEFORE IT MIGHT SEEM LIKE SIMPLE ADVICE. IF YOU HAVEN'T, NO SHAME, YOU'VE GOT TO LEARN SOMEWHERE. WELL WHEN YOU'VE GOT PRESSURE ON THAT PEDAL, KEEP THE PEDAL DOWN UNTIL HE TELLS YOU THAT HE'S GOT THE BLEEDER SCREW CLOSED AND THE CIRCUIT CLOSED. OTHER WISE YOU COULD POTENTIALLY PULL AIR BACK INTO THE CIRCUIT DEFEATING THE PURPOSE OF WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE. ALRIGHT?
(RYAN)>> ALRIGHT, THAT SHOULD DO SIT FOR THAT SIDE. NOW SINCE THE REAR BRAKE CALIPERS SHARE A SINGLE BRAKE LINE THAT COMES FROM THE MASTER CYLINDER ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE AXLE HERE WHERE IT SPLITS OFF, YOU'RE GONNA DO THE MAJORITY OF THE BLEEDING, OR FLUSHING OF THE AIR, ON THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR. NOW YOU'VE STILL GOT TO DO THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR, JUST WON'T TAKE AS MANY CYCLES TO FLUSH THE AIR OUT.
(RYAN)>> GET THAT RIGHT REAR UP IN THE AIR.
(KEVIN)>> I THINK I FELT, I FELT A LITTLE ELEVATION RIGHT THERE.
(RYAN)>> YEAH, THAT'S PROBABLY GOOD ENOUGH.
(KEVIN)>> HEY, WELCOME BACK. WELL WE'RE TESTING OUT OUR RUSTY'S OFF ROAD SUSPENSION TO SEE HOW WELL IT FLEXES.
(RYAN)>> THE FIRST TIME UP OUR LITTLE TEST ROCK HERE, WE'VE GOT THE SWAY BAR CONNECTED. NOW THE SWAY BAR OR ANTIROLL BAR DOES A GREAT JOB OF REDUCING BODY ROLL WHILE YOU'RE TURNING OUT ON THE STREET. BUT ON THE TRAIL, WELL IT LIMITS WHEEL TRAVEL. AND IF YOU TAKE A CLOSER LOOK, YOU CAN SEE THE FRONT AXLE IS NEARLY PARALLEL WITH THE FRONT BUMPER FORCING THE REAR SUSPENSION TO DO MOST OF THE ARTICULATION.
(KEVIN)>> NOW THIS IS A REALLY GOOD ILLUSTRATION AS TO WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO HAVE LOCKING DIFFS AND A FLEXIBLE SUSPENSION IN AN OFF ROAD RIG. WITHOUT A LOCKER, WELL THE WHEEL THAT'S DOWN THERE IN THE DIRT IS NOT GONNA DO ANYTHING AND THE ONE THAT'S UP IN THE AIR IS GONNA SPIN. IT DOESN'T GIVE YOU ANY TRACTION. AND WITHOUT FLEXING THE SUSPENSION, WELL IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT KIND OF TIRES YOU'VE GOT, YOU COULD HAVE THE BEST TIRES IN THE WORLD. IF THEY'RE NOT COMING INTO CONTACT WITH ANYTHING, YOU'RE NOT GONNA GET ANY TRACTION. SO WHAT WE'RE GONNA DO IS PULL OFF THE ROCK, DISCONNECT THE SWAY BAR END LINKS, SEE HOW MUCH MORE FLEX WE CAN INTRODUCE INTO THE FRONT END AND GIVE US MORE TRACTION. NOW ALL THE PARTS YOU NEED FOR THIS ARE PROVIDED IN THE SWAY BAR KIT. YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE AND DRILL THE HOLE FOR THE PEG TO WHERE YOU'RE NOT GONNA COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE ROTATING TIRE ON A LOCK TO LOCK TURN.
(RYAN)>> NOW NOT ONLY DID THAT FEEL A LOT SAFER FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT, WE'VE OBVIOUSLY MADE SOME GAINS IN THE ANGLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FRONT AXLE AND THE FRONT BUMPER JUST BY DISCONNECTING THE FRONT SWAY BAR AND ALLOWING THE FRONT SUSPENSION TO DO SOME WORK.
(KEVIN)>> NOW WITH THE SUSPENSION FINALLY ALLOWED TO FULLY ARTICULATE, YOU SEE THE BENEFIT OF THE FLAT STYLE FLARES, BUT HERE'S SOMETHING ELSE TO CONSIDER. EVEN THOUGH WE'RE FURTHER UP THE OBSTACLE, THE BODY HAS ACTUALLY REMAINED MORE LEVEL, AND THAT'S BECAUSE THE SUSPENSION IS FINALLY ALLOWED TO DO WHAT IT'S DESIGNED TO DO. THAT'S GONNA KEEP YOU SAFER ON THE TRAIL. NOW THE LAST PIECE OF THE PUZZLE WAS A TOM WOODS DRIVESHAFT. THIS HEAVY DUTY SHAFT CONNECTS TO THE SLIP YOKE ELIMINATOR KIT, MAKING THIS RIG FINALLY READY FOR THE TRAIL, AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHERE WE'RE TAKING IT. I'LL LET YOU BACK DOWN BEFORE I GET HIT.
(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, NOW MOST OF US HAVE PLENTY OF KEYS ON OUR KEY RING AND WE DON'T WANT TO ADD ANY MORE UNNECESSARILY. BUT IF YOU NEED TO LOCK UP YOUR TRAILER, TOOL BOX, MOTORCYCLE, OR ATV, WELL BOLT LOCK HAS A WAY TO PUT YOUR KEY RING ON A DIET. THESE LOCKS ELIMINATE THE NEED TO CARRY AROUND EXTRA KEYS. THE NEAT THING ABOUT THESE BOLT LOCKS, THEY LEARN YOUR TRUCK'S EXISTING IGNITION KEY AND THEY'RE AVAILABLE FOR FORD, CHEVY, AND CHRYSLER VEHICLES. THE BOLT LOCK IS AN AUTOMOTIVE GRADE LOCK CYLINDER THAT LEARNS YOUR KEY ONCE IT'S INSERTED FOR THE FIRST TIME. THEN ONCE THE KEY IS CYCLED AND REMOVED, IT'S FOREVER MEMORIZED YOUR KEY'S PATTERN. THESE QUALITY CORROSION RESISTANT AMERICAN MADE BOLT LOCKS ARE AVAILABLE IN A CABLE LOCK STYLE, CYCLE LOCKS, SPARE TIRE LOCKS, EVEN RECEIVER HITCH LOCKS. AND YOU CAN LOCK UP ALL YOUR STUFF WITH JUST YOUR EXISTING KEY. GUYS THANKS FOR WATCHING TRUCKS, SEE YOU NEXT WEEK.
